International Insurance Coverage

This episode of Alternate Reality looks at the interconnection between the richest economy on earth and the global insurance industry and global poverty; earthquake insurance and the US role in Haiti destruction. It also looks at how US President Barack Obama’s health insurance act is not beneficial to the average American citizens. Filmmaker Michael Moore believes that it is not healthcare reform, universal healthcare and tens of thousand will die as a result of this new bill because they won’t be covered until 2014. Piracy off the coast of Somalia and possible Blackwater’s future role there are also being discussed.
